Certifications¶
- Cloud Digit Certified Practitioner (CDCP) — entry-level
- Cloud Digit Certified Architect (CDCA) — solutions architect role
- Cloud Digit Certified Operations Engineer (CDCO) — SRE / ops role
Certifications are exam-based, on a Cloud Digit-hosted proctored exam platform. Practice tests included with training.
Private training¶
Private cohorts are delivered on-site at the customer's office, at one of our DCs (with a tour included as a bonus), or remote. Curriculum is tailored — e.g., a private "Bank-IT for Cloud Digit" track that covers BB ICT 4.0 mappings, DRaaS deployment, and Object Lock for archive obligations.

Certifications¶
CD offers: - Cloud Digit Associate (CDA) — fundamentals - Cloud Digit Professional (CDP) — design + operate - Cloud Digit Specialty — security, AI/ML, networking, DBA - Cloud Digit Architect (CDA-Pro) — senior level
Exam delivery: proctored online or at Pearson VUE centers.

Voucher and bundle pricing¶
Annual training budget: - Voucher pack (50 exam vouchers + 100 training seats) - Site license (unlimited learners for the org)
Use it or lose it (vouchers expire annually).
Custom curriculum¶
For specific tech stacks or domains: - Scoping with customer L&D team - 4-8 week development - Delivered as repeatable course material - Updates as platform evolves (separate)

Cohort training delivery¶
Instructor-led: - Pre-class survey (skill levels, expectations) - Daily attendance tracking - Lab access (sandbox Cloud Digit account per learner) - Mid-course pulse check - End-of-course assessment
Lab environments¶
Each learner gets a sandbox: - Time-limited (course duration + 30 days) - Resource quota (small) - No production data - Isolated network
After course: sandbox archived; learner keeps their work for reference.
Certification exams¶
- Online proctored: AI-monitored, periodic webcam check
- Test center: Pearson VUE, in-person
- Re-take policy: 14-day wait, second attempt free; third attempt full price
Reporting¶
Team coordinators get dashboards: - Enrolled vs completed - Pass rates per course - Time-to-completion - Certifications earned
Useful for L&D budget justification.
Custom curriculum lifecycle¶
Custom courses: - Developed once - Re-delivered per cohort - Updated annually (platform evolves; content needs refresh) - Sunset when no longer relevant

Lab sandbox not provisioning¶
Learner reports "lab won't start": - Account quota (training quotas separate from prod) - Capacity in training region - Browser issue accessing lab UI
Coordinator can re-trigger provisioning.
Exam proctor flagged learner¶
AI proctor flagged something during exam: - Review the recording - Often false-positive (someone walked into the room, learner adjusted webcam) - Decision by certification team - Re-take usually offered if flag isn't substantive
Exam content out of date¶
Learner complains the exam tested outdated material: - CD updates exam content quarterly - Lag possible (content development ≥ platform release) - Acknowledge; partial credit considered
Voucher unused at year-end¶
Voucher pack expires: - Use it or lose it - Some negotiation for major customers - Plan ahead next year (don't over-buy)
Custom curriculum stale¶
Custom course developed 2 years ago; platform has evolved: - Update engagement; cheaper than full rebuild - Or sunset and start fresh - Continuous updates as a retainer option
Certification doesn't transfer to other clouds¶
CD certifications validate CD knowledge. Some skills transfer (general K8s, Linux); CD-specific doesn't.
Not a bug; mention as a feature for those staying in BD ecosystem.
Group training cancellation¶
Cohort cancels due to org changes: - Refund / credit per contract terms - Re-schedule for new cohort - Convert to self-paced for individuals
